The opportunity
Our client is an established London design studio with an exceptional reputation for elegant hospitality and private residential interiors. They are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who can bring thoughtful creative judgement, technical confidence and a highly organised approach to the delivery of complex projects.
You will work across a carefully considered portfolio of luxury environments, collaborating with experienced designers, architects and specialist makers. The role carries genuine responsibility for design quality and is suited to someone who enjoys balancing imaginative ideas with the discipline required for high quality execution.
What you will do
- Lead interior design work packages from developed concept through detailed completion.
- Prepare elegant client presentations, material schemes, bespoke furniture concepts and detailed specifications.
- Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Review drawing information, schedules and samples to maintain design quality and accuracy.
- Attend client meetings and contribute informed solutions throughout the project process.
- Support and guide junior designers while maintaining a calm and collaborative team environment.
What you will bring
- A minimum of eight years of professional interior design experience.
- A strong portfolio of luxury hospitality, high end residential or related premium interiors.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, furniture, lighting and detailed interior specifications.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with demanding clients and project teams.
- Experience producing and reviewing detailed design and documentation packages.
- Professional fluency in English. United Kingdom project experience is preferred.
